PETIT MAL @ MUAC

Exposición colectiva mostrada en el MUAC (Museo universitario de Arte Contemporáneo) en México, DF.

Petit Mal es un término neurológico el cual refiere a la breve interrupción de las funciones cerebrales causadas por una actividad eléctrica anómala. Así fue nombrada esta exposición por la naturaleza de sus piezas  que consisten en  instalaciones dinámicas, como máquinas, robots, videos, cables que mandan señales y activan elementos de las piezas.

Los artistas exponentes: Chico Macmurtrie, Rubén Ortiz Torres, Gilberto Esparza, Ge Jin, Diego Gutiérrez, Michael Landy, Simon Penny, Heidi Kumao, Francis Alÿs, Eduardo Meléndez, Alex Dorfsman, Gustavo Artigas.

A collective Exhibition at MUAC (Museo universitario de Arte Contemporáneo), in México City.

Petit Mal is a neurological term that refers to a brief interruption of brain functions due an abnormal electric activity. This is the name given to this exhibition because of the nature of the pieces shown here such as dynamic installations like machines, robots, videos, cables that send signals and make some elements of these pieces move.
